Organize Them Scarves Girl!

If you are like myself or most other women I know, you probably have at least three or four scarves. Any why not! They are WONDERFUL accessories! So versatile that you can get them in any color, style, or thickness for each and every season! But eventually I ended up with more than three or four and a problem on how to store them.

I was keeping them on a hanger in my closet but they ended up lost among my clothes. The closets in these old houses are small enough without adding a couple hangers stuffed with scarves, not to mention what it was doing to my OCD and need to have things orderly.

Solution? I was at Target browsing around for ideas when I got smacked in the face by four drunk octopi looking for a fight. If you never heard that before allow me to introduce you to this wonderful thing. If you look at one of the hooks in the picture below, you will see what looks like an octopus with crooked (or drunk) eyes and two hands up looking for a fight. You will never be able to unsee it. You are welcome :) So what do you do with four drunk octopi looking for a fight? You take them home and let them hold your scarves for you :) You might now be asking yourself, but how can those arms hold so many scarves? Well, with shower curtain rings of course. Nothing fancy. Just the plain ones, not plastic, but plain.

I spent $18 for the rack and $7 for the rings. I had 12 rings but had more than 12 scarves so I doubled some of them up, and as you can see...it works! There is room for MORE scarves as well! This way, all I have to do is open my closet door. My clothes in front of me, my shoes below me, and my scarves to my right....perfect outfit staging area!
